Damn you both!  I'm sitting here trying to work through my game backlog and hone my LoL skills and you guys have to go and make me want to buy this before I'm ready.

Setting the hyperbole and StarCraft2 geek-outs aside, this is a really fantastic RTS.  I'm planning on doing a blog post discussing its merits tonight.  Also, because I was up WAY too late last night playing this, I won't be at game night tonight.  After a brief dinner/relaxation spell, I am going to pass the hell out.

I loved Starcraft 1.  My favorite unit was the cloaking ships the terrans had.

I preordered Starcraft 2 and I picked it up a few days ago.  I bought the Limited Edition.  Haven't played it yet

I've been playing the crap out of SC2 for the past few days, I'm at the 13th mission.  Awesome game, I am totally enjoying playing an old school RTS game.  Yeah there are a few differences but overall it plays like older RTSs.  Glad I bought the Limited Edition, the music in the game is pretty good (except for the country songs, not my favorite style of music).  I wish Blizzard would make another Warcraft.

A Zerg, A Shotgun, And You. It's just sooooo bad, and yet it is the perfect country song. I kind of feel bad for having to hate it so much.

Color me obsessed... I played SC2 until 2am yesterday/this morning.  I can't say so far its incredibly hard (I'm playing on Normal difficulty) but there was a level I just played where I had to drastically alter my strategy to survive.  Some of the hard accomplishments look, well, hard to accomplish.

I started on Normal so that I don't get crushed. I've got back to a few and did them on Hard without much trouble (so far), but if you're waltzing through on Normal, the hard achievements don't seem to be so bad.

Some of the non-campaign achievements, though? Like win 100 matches with each race? That's probably not going to happen anytime soon.

Even though I've not really got any experience as anything other than Terrans, I'd like to try some custom maps (TD, Castle Fight, etc) at some point with some people. I'm still not ready for legitimate multiplayer, especially as Zerg (Brian can attest to this). I also still think we should try to get some guest passes ready for a game night soon, but I also have no idea how that idea would hold up for the majority of people who haven't had any experience whatsoever with SC2.

I assume by "320 achievements", you mean your achievement score. I'm up to like 530 or something around there, and maybe a little over half-way through the campaign.

I just beat the campaign on Normal yesterday.  All 26 missions completed, excellent game!  I can't wait for the next one.  I won't be gunning for achievements though, I am off to play the next game in my list, Mass Effect 2.
